Seek kebab made at home :) They taste just the way you want them to, all it has is lean chicken instead of fatty meat and the preparation is as simple as making an omlete:)





--Chicken-S-e-e-k-H-Kebab--










I have used bihari kebab masala, but there are different varieties of kebab masala you can use like tikka seekh kebab masala, shammi kebab masala, seekh kebab bbq mix whichever you like.

INGREDIENTS
QUANTITY


Minced chicken breast
200gm
Onion
1 medium finely chopped
Green Chilly
2 to 4 finely chopped
Mint leaves chopped
 3 tablespoon
Mozzarella cheese shredded
Ginger garlic paste
4 tablespoon

2 teaspoon
Black pepper
1 teaspoon
Coriander leaves
Lemon juice out of half lemon
Seekh Kebab Masala
Turmeric powder
Dhania jeera powder
Salt
Wooden or metal Skewers
2 tablespoons


3 tablespoon
½ teaspoon
2 teaspoon
To taste

Method:

  • Pre heat the oven to 480 F.

  • In a large bowl, mix minced chicken, onions, mint, cilantro, ginger garlic paste, chilly and cheese.

  • Season with cumin coriander powder(dhania jeera),turmeric, black pepper, and salt and kebab masala.

  • Divide the meat in 8 equal parts, mold the chicken mixture to form sausages around skewers. Make sure the meat is spread to an even thickness.

  • Cover, and refrigerate for 2 hours.

  • Brush kebabs with oil, and arrange kebabs on a greased baking tray. Cook for 10 to 20 minutes, or until well done, turning as needed to brown evenly.

  • Serve immediately with coriander mint chutney, sprinkle some chaat masala(optional) with sliced onions and lemon on side.

  • Serves 2.
