Beet Pineapple Cheese Salad
Ingredients

Beet

boiled and diced 2 cups

Pineapple

Fresh 1 ½ cup diced

Cheese

Feta/Plain ¼ cup small cubes

Pepper
|
Coarsely crushed 2 teaspoon

Salt

To taste

Garlic Powder
|
2 Teaspoon
|
Olive oil
|
2 Tablespoon
|
Method :
Boil the beet and cut them into medium size
cubes
Chop the pineapple into medium size cubes.
Crumble the Feta cheese or if it’s the plain Amul/Britannia cheese cubes, then cut in to small size cubes.
Take whole black pepper and crush them
coarsely.
In a Salad bowl mix the beet pineapple and the
spices all together, pour the olive oil add the cheese, toss it or mix it.
Refrigerate it or serve it as it is.
Serves 4.

Beets are a good source
of potassium, magnesium, iron, vitamin A, B& C Beta carotene, Beta cyanine.
Beets are particularly
beneficial to women whom are pregnant, as the vitamin B and iron are very
beneficial to new growth cells during pregnancy and replenishing iron in the
woman’s body.

and high in sugar although the sugar is released into your system gradually.
Beets are a wonderful
addition to any dietary need. With their high volume of nutrients, delicious
taste, and multitude of uses.
Pineapple is also a
source of important vitamins and minerals such as thiamin, riboflavin, vitamin
B-6, folate, pantothenic acid, magnesium, manganese and potassium and
antioxidants and polyphenols, such as beta-carotene.
A higher intake of all
fruits (3 or more servings per day) has also been shown to decrease risk of and
progression of age-related macular degeneration.
This salad is a good way
to incorporate omega fatty acids from olive oil, rich minerals and vitamins
from beets in our diet, tastes yum as well as highly nutritious.
